Haiti
In 2005 I was a medical student in Pakistan and I spent countless hours assisting surgeries and providing basic medical care to victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the region there. Tomorrow I leave to try and help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. I’m going with a disaster relief contingent of IMANA. I’ll be documenting my experience best I can while I’m there. Not sure that I’ll have access to power, let alone internet, but we’ll see. Wish me luck.
